Now I must say the nation's getting a little more caught up in the man more so than what he stands for along with his merits, but it's still pretty damn cool seeing all this Obama stuff popping up left and right. Here's a small example...

The last time a president had his own alcohol was Sam Adams...oh wait...wrong Adams. So I guess this is a first. Mayhem in the 510

As many of you know or maybe have heard of, last week 22 year old Oscar Grant of Hayward was shot by a BART police officer early new year's day. This has caused an uproar throughout the Eastbay and people as of late have been protesting in the streets of Oakland. They haven't been very peaceful to say the least. From what the news is saying and looking at some of the pictures on the net, shit's getting pretty ugly over there. cars and store fronts are getting vandalized as well as cop cars (see pic). It's like Rodney King all over again.

Now I definitely stand with everyone else in saying what happened was pretty fucked up and that justice needs to be served but this is totally the wrong way to go about shit. Innocent people's cars and stores are getting fucked up. There's absolutely no need for any of that. And on top of that these "protesters" are taking away from the main issue at hand. Now the city has these idiots to deal with instead of handling Oscar Grant's case. All i can say is I hope Mr. Grant's family wins their case and that BART cop gets what's comin' to him.

Best show ever! If you don't know...now ya know. Make sure you catch your ass up. The show is currently in its fourth season so get your torrents up (or buy the dvds if you have moral issues or whatever) and stay in one uneventful weekend to get caught up. You won't be dissapointed, trust me.
